Guest Ratings & Reviews
I absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic King-sized bed and a view facing the circle and Rhode Island Ave. The service was top-notch, from the front desk to housekeeping and even at the restaurant. The location was perfect for exploring the White House, National Mall, and Smithsonian Museums, as well as being central to restaurants and shopping in Midtown, DC. The dining experience left a bit to be desired with limited healthy options, but overall, it was a fantastic stay.
The hotel was conveniently located near all major attractions and business centers, offering clean and spacious rooms amidst ongoing renovations. The service was outstanding, particularly from Hylina, who went above and beyond to assist. The dining options were mixed, with some dishes worth trying. Overall, a nice stay with good value for money.
The hotel offers spacious rooms, but there is regular noise from sirens and the air-conditioner can be quite loud compared to modern units. Bathroom lighting is poor for makeup application, and there is no full-length mirror for checking outfits. The furnishings are plain and dull, lacking a vibrant atmosphere.
I found my stay at the hotel to be quite pleasant. The rooms, although a bit small as expected in the city, were clean, had a nice High Def TV set, were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the noise from being located on Scott Circle. The service was top-notch with very helpful, quick, and effective staff who were professional, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile. The location was excellent, just off Dupont Circle and the Red Line Metro, making it convenient to reach various attractions in about ten minutes, but it felt a bit quiet on weekends. As for dining, heading to the hotel across the street for happy hours may not be worth it as it seemed lacking, plus the dining area in the basement without natural light was not impressive.
